DOCUMENTATION / Getting Started
From a question to a first investigation
Understanding models and model suites
A model is an executable representation of a system. A suite collects one or more models with data, documentation, visualizations and validation resources. We publish these adaptable starting points as blueprints: coherent suites of models and tools, with the information needed to discover and work with them. A machine-readable description supports discovery; the model’s executable runtime performs the computation.
Finding a model
Explore the model library at blueprints.vizualmodel.ai, using category browsing or search. Read the purpose, assumptions, execution modes, source and licensing information before choosing a suite. The initial catalog has one actual suite: Solar System. Concept tiles are design illustrations only.
Obtaining or connecting to a model
Open Solar System from its blueprint page. Ordinary exploration works immediately in the browser without signing in.
Hosted ChatGPT access is in setup and is not available yet. The intended pilot journey is to open the model, enable agent access for that tab, sign in, and connect the VizualModel integration in ChatGPT once. Then select the tab explicitly in your conversation. See Configuration for release status and setup requirements.
Running a first investigation
Begin with a bounded question: “How does the Earth–Mars distance vary over the supported interval?” Open Distance charts in the application, choose Earth and Mars, and inspect the curve. Record dates and settings. The next closest approach operation finds a model-derived local minimum; it is not an independently verified astronomical prediction.
